When a tree dies…

During thousands of years, the humans have more and more been playing an important role in the deforestation. Through history, an empire after another one has cut forests to construct to their boats and houses, and like fuel. Once they have been devastated, those forests have not recovered in thousand years or more, and some never will recover -- like in parts of the Mediterranean, the Middle East and Great Britain. The global deforestation has accelerated itself dramatically in recent decades. The tropical forests of South America and the Southeast of Asia are being cut and being burned to an alarming rate for agricultural uses, as much in small as in great scale, from enormous plantations of oil palm to the agriculture of subsistence of “tomb and burns”. The fires that begin frequently for these intentions burn outside control. The call “Mist” in the Southeast of Asia during 1997 and other years was the forest fire result extensive that burned without control in the forests affected by the drought. The deforestation idea creates images of naked areas. By this, when somebody sees an area aerial photography “highly deforested” in parts of the tropical, they are surprised when seeing that still they are left many trees there. In fact, they do not seem to be deforested. The reason of it is that at least the 10 percent of the land is covered by the glasses of the trees; if the percentage of forest falls below the 10 percent, the tropical areas are considered deforested. But that exists some trees do not mean that the forest has not suffered damages. Any reduction of the forest is a problem for its ecosystem. The deforestation happens when the forests are turned farms for foods or cultures commercial or used to raise cattle. Also the cutting of trees for commercial use or fuel takes to the destruction of the forests. The deforestation does not have to only do with the loss of trees.
Also it has a great impact on the atmosphere. Many living creatures depend on the trees reason why, when the trees disappear, also the animals disappear (diminished biodiversity). Potentially valuable medicines and materials are lost, just like the clean water and the air. They undergo the indígeneas people and, possibly, also the national economies. The future of the people and the forests they are interconnected.
