The ozone layer and its importance.

What is the ozone layer?Easy; it is thecover air that surrounds the Earth and protects it from the ultra-violet rayses that radiate from the sun. It's composed by three oxygen molecules (O3) and it is a natural form in the stratosphere.
Stratospheric ozone forms by action of the ultraviolet radiation, that dissociates molecular oxygen molecules (O2) in two atoms, which are highly reactive, being able to react these with another molecule of O2 being formed ozone. Stratospheric ozone is destroyed as well by action of the own ultraviolet radiation, since the radiation with smaller wavelength of 290 nm causes that an atom oxygen of the ozone molecule is come off. A dynamic balance in which ozone forms and destroys, being consumed of this form most of the radiation of smaller wavelength of 290 forms therefore sayings nm. Thus, ozone acts as a filter that does not let pass this detrimental radiation until the surface and the life in the Earth. All Earth component has its mission in the harmony of our nature; in this case, the ozone that covers the Earth, protects to us of the dangerous and detrimental solar radiations that, in other planets, inposibilita the life existence on the surface. We would be living in this planet if the ozone layer did not exist?
